Puppy/Lactating Bitch- Complete and Balanced Raw Meals

Puppy/Lactating Bitch- Complete and Balanced Raw Meals

Two week old Bijon Frise puppies story.

Mama Bear Waru had her final litter 2 weeks ago with C Section and Spay. She was so full up with fat puppies she was struggling to eat, walk let alone get up steps! As she turns 6 next month, we made the decision to have her spayed after the C Section. I couldn't risk her having another season, she so loves being a mum she got depressed when she wasn't mated after her first litter of 1 pup!
I've been feeding all my dogs raw goat and venison for several years now and this year connected with @WildHQPetFood when they started up here in Nelson about 6/7 months ago. They have a Massey University approved formula which they mix with their freshly caught goat and deer and perfect timing, they'd just had their puppy/lactating bitch formula approved and signed off in both goat and venison.
Well Waru started on both of these on day 2. She absolutely loves it, can be a fussy when she wants to be, but loves this!
The most important observation I've made next is over these first 2 weeks they are the most contented, relaxed, chilled and fat puppies. You may have seen the singing video... very funny!
If anyone complains, it's not even a real complaint, ie might be stuck on the other side of mum, it's more of a squeak! Apart from feeding mum regularly and changing bedding, they are the absolute easiest puppies.
I know they have an amazing mum, but I really think what I'm feeding her has raised it to another level. She does get other food items such as scrambled egg with either goat or sheep milk plus homemade bone broth and sheep or goats milk to drink, but I believe the difference is the quality of this novel food.
Ps... eyes and ears just starting to open.... soooo cute!
